Leigh’s journey began on February 13 when she traveled to Midtown Atlanta for a religious event, promising to return the following day. Her husband, Rob, last heard from her that Friday evening before her phone seemingly went dead and all contact ceased. She was scheduled to return home on Valentine’s Day to be with her husband and their young son for the holiday. When she failed to show up, a missing person’s report was filed and a multi-state search began immediately, with local authorities and volunteers scouring the city for any sign of the missing 37-year-old. The mystery intensified when investigators tracked Leigh’s final movements to an upscale neighborhood in Atlanta. She was spotted at a Publix supermarket in Buckhead on the night of February 14, while. friends later noted she had mentioned staying an extra day in the city, though the reasons for this change remain unknown. On Monday, the search took a chilling turn when Leigh’s SUV was found abandoned near the Atlanta Braves stadium. The vehicle was located less than 10 miles from the supermarket where she was last seen, but Leigh was nowhere to be found.
