INTER MILAN have put an ‘anti-Juventus’ clause into the £45million sale contract of Mauro Icardi – to try and stop him being sold to their arch-rivals.
Icardi’s wag and agent Wanda Nara revealed she had wrapped up negotiations with Paris Saint-Germain on her husband’s move, which could rise to £51m with add-ons.
This bizarrely included a special clause – which will involve a further £13m payment if they do sell him to their Serie A rivals, according to Goal.com.
Inter chiefs are worried Icardi will be sold back to Juve in a year’s time.
The Argentine attacker, 27, moved to PSG in September and has been a huge hit.
He hit 20 goals in just 28 appearances prior to the coronavirus lockdown when Ligue 1 was cancelled.
But he can still play in the club’s Champions League campaign.
They are in the quarter-finals and have already indicated they will play their ‘home’ matches outside France if the French government won’t let them play in the capital.
Inter chiefs fear Icardi will join the Old Lady in a year’s time just to spite them.
He fell out with the Inter board and was stripped of the captaincy by former boss Luciano Spalletti.

His replacement Antonio Conte had deemed him surplus to requirements and quickly packed him off on loan at PSG.
Spurs and Manchester United have also previously been linked with the South American attacker.
But his move to the French capital will be completed today.
