The photos of a Southwest jet that made an emergency landing in Philadelphia are terrifying
A Southwest Airlines 737 jet plane was forced to make an emergency landing Tuesday after an engine apparently burst, sending shrapnel flying through a window, depressurizing the cabin and injuring some of the passengers. "One passenger, a woman, was partially … was drawn out towards the out of the plane … was pulled back in by other passengers," one witness told Philadelphia's NBC affiliate.
The Dallas-bound flight had departed from LaGuardia Airport in New York City in the morning before the emergency forced it to land at Philadelphia International. The images shared by passengers of the event are terrifying:

Philadelphia's Action News confirmed that at least one person was taken to the hospital after the plane landed.
Tuesday's emergency is the second major event for Southwest Airlines in the past several days. On Saturday, passengers screamed and sent goodbye texts to family members as their plane attempted to land in a storm in New Orleans before finally being diverted to Panama City, Florida.
